My Jack was nearly impossible to raise and lower by hand when the trailer was loaded. It was a relatively straightforward install. I do wish the weld on tab was a little bit longer and was slotted on both sides to allow welding in the middle of the tab. Due to the design on my trailer, it was hard to access one side to get a good weld on it. For most people it’s not an issue, and if you have a welder, you can probably make your own tab. The fact that I could barely crank the thing by hand (mind you I'm 6’2 190lbs and work as a welder and in other construction trades, if I say something is hard to crank, it’s hard to crank) the fact that I could take a cordless drill, a socket adapter, and a socket to it with zero issues it is pretty impressive, especially given the price point. Other than that, it seems to be built well compared to some of the other options on the market.
A new set of hydraulic/electric jacks is going to cost you well over $1000, not to mention the potential fab work of mounting them. I will definitely buy again if I get another trailer, and I will definitely recommend it to all my friends. If you’re on the fence, pull the trigger, you won’t regret it.
